The classic floral accessory for the bride during the Victorian years of the 19th c and well into the early years of the 20th century, the blossoms were used for hair wreaths, bridal bouquets and dress ornaments. Originally made from the actual blossom which was dipped in wax, most specimens have long since disappeared. Those that have survived have found their way into todays antique markets where they have become extremely precious These blossoms, molded from vintage specimens, have been made, with the aid of modern technology, to duplicate the originals in texture, color and form, making them virtually indistinguishable from each other. As an accompaniment for bridal as well as everyday wear , these are sure to evoke the warmth of an era long past.
